GifBake provides tools to generate and convert animated images. This policy explains how GifBake handles information when you use gifbake.com.

Information we process

We process the prompts and generation settings you submit, and keep records of prompts, generation status and time associated with an account. When you upload an image for conversion, our server processes it to return the converted file. Generated files are returned to your browser rather than stored in a public gallery.

We use an account identifier and an essential signed cookie to maintain your session and credit balance. We process IP address information and a hashed identifier for abuse prevention, free-credit limits and rate limits. We also process technical and error logs necessary to operate and secure the service.

Google sign-in and email

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides us with your Google account identifier and verified email address. We use these to sign you in, identify your account and restore eligible purchased credits. We do not request access to your Google contacts, files or other Google services. If email sign-in is enabled, we process your email address to send a sign-in link and maintain your account.

Payments and service providers

When payments are enabled, Waffo Pancake handles checkout and payment information. We receive information such as an order ID, payment status, amount, currency and billing email to provide credits, handle refunds and support purchases. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider, not entered into GifBake.

Depending on the features enabled, prompts and generation settings are sent to Replicate or OpenAI to generate images. Google handles Google sign-in, Resend may deliver sign-in emails, and Cloudflare helps deliver and protect the site. These providers process information under their own policies and service arrangements.

Retention and your choices

We retain account, transaction and generation records as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, protect against abuse and meet applicable obligations. You can request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons.
