Will my GIF definitely end up under 100 KB?

Almost always. If an unusually complex GIF still doesn't fit, we tell you and give you the smallest version we could make.

Why did the dimensions get smaller?

When colour reduction alone isn't enough, shrinking the dimensions keeps every frame and the smoothness of the animation.

My GIF is already smaller than that.

Then we hand it back untouched — re-encoding would only cost quality.
